  1. Mine has just been sent out from HK UK so i thought i'd share a buddy code to anyone who is thinking of buying this sweet looking plane,oh if you do click on the link (buddy code) you will save a few quid. **LINK**
  2. Great review Tim and i'm now looking forward to the photos and reading what power train you went for,i hope you will keep us informed on the maiden flight too.
  3. From most of what i have read you have your answer,i bit of common sense goes a long way in most situations i find, plus always be nice and polite and if they don't first you start a conversation then that way there isn't no awkward silence,if that didn't work just say could you wait a moment and i'll land and then you can be off, then once they have you can then start flying again once it's safe too. Most people respond well to kindness and manners and it cost nothing, don't take the stance it's them against me or there hobby over ours,as we are all out to enjoy ourselves are we not.
  4. Well mine did turn up on Monday morning but to be honest i've only had time for a quick look through,i'm looking forward to reading up on the Semi-scale Reno Racer by Lee Smalley though.
  5. No stick time for me sorry to say,the flying field i use has just been to wet for my foam warbirds and EDF's,but i did get some flight time in a couple of weeks ago and it was cold,i used my old TX glove with a little heater inside which kept my fingers and thumbs nice and toasty i must say.
  6. As others have said HK does clearly state before we buy what we get charged,so it's down to us what method we decide to use,i for one never like using my credit card online and always use paypal when i can,i really do like PP and think there service is good, well it has been for me. If i did have to use my credit card and i knew i had to pay £6 for the privilege,so be it as i said i knew before putting the order in,at the end of the day most of us that use HK do so for a good reason, mine is because they are so cheap and i can't buy what i'm after anywhere else as cheap, even with a £6 charge if i did use my credit card.
  7. Very well put Andrew and i do hope it's nothing at the end of the day,but if your anything like me you will keep looking for something even though you know it's not there if you get what i mean. Well thats what i'm like when it comes to my planes, take care mate and get that bad boy back in the air where it belongs.
  8. Got to say it,that is one sweet looking F-16 your got there and you did a great job on it too.
  9. Any sort of Hints and Tips page would be great,no matter what sort as most of us could always do with seeing how other people go about this hobby of ours, building, flying, tools or even a how too,you name it i'd find it very interesting. I bet even the very wise modelers would gain from it too, because we can always learn something new in this hobby, well i know i'm always picking up new tips/ideas when going through the many forums and Youtube of course.
  10. Is the prop balanced as that two can cause a number of problems,i only say this as some people don't balance props which will lead to all sorts of noise and vibrations, just a thought.
  11. No i'm not going to give any advice as i don't have the model,it is a shame though because it is such a great looking and flying plane,i must admit i was surprised when i read it was a Hanger 9 plane giving you this head ache. I hope you get someone who has one and can give you the advice or the mod you might need to sort her out. If not try a google search and see if anything pops up,might be worth a try.
  12. Posted by Garbo on 27/08/2012 20:01:41: +1 Starr, the post is gone but Thanks for your support mate,i did go off on one a little but i don't think there was any need for that as there are other ways of getting your point across.
