Hi Robert. I have been in contact with HITEC. And they tell me when I ask why I can't find someone who sell Hitec radio anymore. They have stop manufacuring new radios. They produce servos and charger and other things but no radios. That made me to do over to Radiomaster TX16S. I can use my 9 Hitrec recievers on that radio. I am flying now my indoor with a Minima 6E Lite and a outdoor foamy with a Optima 7. Binding very easy and I have so far not had any issues. I will start to fly my balsa warbirds next summer when i feel more confortable with the programming of the TX16S. I don't think Hitec has started up yet the production of new transmitters. I was in contact with them this summer. My my info is a few months old. But when I go in on there website there is only Flash 7 and Flash 8 radios. But I cant find any modelstore who have them in stock. I have been happy with my Aurora an till this year when the screen give up and I have alos something with the motherboard. Multiplex in Germany tell me so. I have probblem with the trimms that adjust them self and I can't reverse the servos from the radio. Thats why I whent from Hitec to Radiomaster. Hi Phil. Yes it is sad about Hitec. Got a mail from them that they say that they have discontinued both the Aurora 9 and 9x radio. They whant me to contact Multiplex in Germany. But that site is in German. I have wrote to them but no responce. Probably becourse I write them in english. The German sites can be little stubborn in thease matters. But if I change brand to what? Futaba seems to be top on the line. But outseide my salary range. And they have so expencive RX . Just feel little sad at the moment of these problem. But I guess i need to look at other brand. Hi Anthony. Thank you for the respond. It is strange what you say. Here is what the Swedish news say about the Brexit. I used Hoogle translate. The UK's exit from the European Union, also known as Brexit, was formally initiated by the UK Government's withdrawal request on 29 March 2017 and was enforced at 00:00 CET on the night between 31 January and 1 February 2020. And the shipment cost for the screen is between 31 to 45 £ to send me the screen from UK. I have never played so much in shipment before. Not even when I buy my Lysander from SMC. And if I go into Swdish Customs site and look they say I need to pay taxes on the stuff I buy from UK. So this is why I ask the question here about the Aurora radio. Br Peter

Hi everyone. I have a Hitec Aurora9x that I bougt 2014 and it has served me very well all these years an till last week when the touch funktion just give up. Now i read on the different forums and also on Youtube that there are more then me who has problem with the screen. I can't buy a new screen in Sweden , ther is none to buy. I found here in UK but you have left EU so buying from UK will cost me the half price of buying a new radio. My question. Does anyone now if HItec has upgraded there LCD screens or are they the same design from the Aurora 9 came out or are they inproved? I have so many TX and telemetry kits that I would like to buy a new Aurora. But I am afraid that I will burn my money if the screens are still unreliable. Does anyone know ?? ( Sorry for not corrct english, I am Swedish) BR Peter

Hello Gentlemen. Hope I am in the right forum. I have question . In one issue of RCM&E was a repotage of the Lizzie.The Westland Lysander. I have lost my copy and forgot wich numder is was. Can anyone help me locate so I can try buy an copy please? I have a Seagull Westland Lysander that i would lite to make the cockpit little more scale. I have bought the magazine once some years ago from Traplet. ( if I remember right) Who publish the magazine now?

Huston we have a problem. The autumn special magazine has not received Sweden. And when I go to Traplet to order a magazine there I can't find RCM&E at all!! What happend? Do anyone know where to order back issues if now Trap let don't have the magazine. I want that one. :-/

Hi every one. Do any one know if there is a problem with the international delivery of this Special issue. I have talked with the kiosk where I buy my magazines and they don't have this issue on there list?? So it don't look that this Autumn special will arrive in Sweden. 😢

For me it depnding of wind direction and also witch feild I am flying on. Some of the model airplane fields is it easyer to fly in one direction.. Little difficult to explain. BR Peter

Thank you Gentlemen. Now have I something to work on. I will try to see if I can establishing the pitch aand see it it maches something on these useful documents you Simon and Martin linked here. The M2 is almoust matching when i spinn it on the pushrod but I can pull it out with no problem. So I know for shure it is not Metric. I will check this and next step will be to try to find the tools here in sweden, not so easy I think. But thanks again for the help.   BR Peter H

Hello you all. Can someone help me with with alittle problem. I have a tread problem. I have a Vmar projekt and I made a misstake when drilling for the puchrod fittings for the elevator. I need to short the puchrod and doing this I also need to extend the treads. The problem is that I can't really understand what cind of treads it is. I do think it is Imperial . The diameter of the tread on the rod is 2,1mm or 0,080 inch. Thats wat my digital caliper says. can some one help me with this. thease small imperial ''measures '' use to have other ''names'' or how I going to explain it.   Can someone understand what I am trynig to say? Hope so and that some one can help me. I am hopeless lost when it comes to Imperial measures :-/ I am looking for a threadtap and the ''female' part I don't know the name of. ( sorry)   BR Peter H

Maybe you have solved the problem allready. But I had similar problem with my OS-46 FX. It was the o-ring under the carburator that was damage so the engine was sucking air under the carb. Might be worth to check that if you still have cut outs. Hope you found the problem, not fun with thease dead stick landings...   BR Peter H

Hello you all. Don't know if this is the right forum but I try here. Do any one knows if Als hobbies ship out side UK ? I have send them a mail to ask but no response. I have tried to call also but they seem busy . The line beeping occupied when calling. I have read on there home page but I cant any thing that say they don't or do. How about some Swedish ''Heavy Metal''  I think that if Mr Nijhuis will pot a lot of work on a new build project I think it wold be a aircraft that are little different that you can buy as a ARF. Here are my suggestions of some not common but interesting aircraft. 1. Saab J21A .HERE 2. FFVS J22 .HERE 3. Saab S18 B18. HERE 4. Handley Page Hampden P5 .HERE will se what airccraft that will win but as I said I hope it will be something interesting and unusual. I have manage to fix this problem. I doesn't seems to be many out here that are using Graupner MX-16 . But I write here anyway the solution of my own question. To set the ''middle '' position of switch 6/7 you have to use the sub trim. So use subtrim to set in my case ''take off flaps''. After you use the servoeinst or servo installation as I think it say in English (I have German in my radio) to set up position of the flap in flight position and landing position. ( up and down)  If you need for some reason change the ''take off'' position you need to change the up and down position again also. A program bug maybe from Graupner side. BR. Peter H

AAAAAAAAAAAARRRRRRRRRGGGGGGGHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!   Have just found out from my newsaget that there will be no November issues of RCM&E in sweden. The reason is that some AAAAARRRRGGHH!! '' Bottom hole'' have send all magazines that was suppose to be shipped to sweden down to South Africa... Yeas you read right.. South Africa.. And on top of that will it be to expancive to order more copies and take to long time, so the company that brings in this great magazine to sweden have decided to skip the November issue totally... So now I need to calm down to think out a plan B how to get my hands of a November issue... But not to day, I am far away to irritated and upset.......   BR Peter H   And yes , this would be part solved if I had a subscription, but in my job I travel and want to buy the magazin in the place I work when it comes out here..
