Well reading this Thread....opinions are full of if's and buts.....and I'm all for the different views.....but as I've mentioned Andy(BMFA) has said .... they would have banned model flying if they want the sole use of the sky......I will put my faith in the BMFA,LMA and the rest.......just hope that the new regs aren't too prohibitive......and we don't get Kapowed financially.....to fly our models. Dracan update.....fitted the servo's for the aileron's in the fuz,bit easier than wing fitting.put some more tissue covering on...i made the wing from one piece of balsa as well,no joint in the middle.......the balsa is starting to look like a Dracan.... ken anderson...ne...1...Dracan dept.

john beat me to it FB3...once you let go of the model it will fly itself away...your arm after the launch will continue up over towards your head...so be out of the way of the prop......maybe for your maiden,get someone else to launch it for you ....in case it is out of trim.....once you've done a launch,its pretty simple. ken anderson...ne...1. underarm dept.

Rich,your right.....I've seen cars lying around on the streets for months with no tax,mot. Talking to someone the other day,he joked it would be cheaper to take a chance and drive without insurance and maybe get caught and fined £200....than pay some of the prices people are getting charged at the min.. Flying regs will be inforced by who?....no one would be my answer....it's a fact of life that everything we do is governed by some sort of rule and regulation ....by been a member of a recognised organisation gives us some peace of mind .....but at the end of the day....it's up to each individual to do what he does following the rules etc...I cant see the point of this thread....even though I've added a comment..
