  1. Thanks Mike, and for taking the time with the feedback, much appreciated. Sorry we're going to loose you, Do you ever compare the quality of the mags? you know, picture quality, quality of reviews etc.. or do they all seem the same to you? David.
  2. Bodger Nigel has written a good electric tutorial for our summer special. David.
  3. Ah oh sorry Ian, yes sorry for the delay it will be there in a day or two. I know it's pitiful excuse but Tom our web editor had two wisdom teeth out this week so he's been a bit out of the equation. He's back on Monday and we'll have some extra pics for the Xtreme glider and the MVVS brushless motors (taken apart) as well. David.
  4. Yes, let us see her when she's done Paul
  5. Thanks Marc, lot's of good ideas there, If there's something you want to do then please give me a call for a chat 01689 899259, it would be great to speak. We've approached many celebrities/famous folks who fly over the years but securing that all important interview is pretty elusive. When you stop to think about it, OK magazine operates on a huge budget/resources - The UK R/C industry just really isn't in the same league. Probably the only way to get an interview would be through a friend of a friend..so if you know anyone..? Anyhow, yes thanks, I agree with some of your points and would love to hear from you. Thanks for your thoughts David.
  6. It's in the June issue page 62 Ian - free plan. David.
  7. Do you mean the brass sleeves that go through the servo mouting rubbers? If so then with the lip on the bottom, ie. from the underside.
  8. Lokks like a nice job on the refurb' can't we bolt a .60 to her?
  9. Marcus Nigel told me that BRC Hobbies will be doing a package of bits for the model, you know - motor, fan unit, esc and li-po for (don't quote me) £60. More in the next issue of course but give BRC a call in the meantime. David.
  10. John, try giving UK distributor J.Perkins a call, they should be able to help. 01622 854300
  11. John I saw the big spit fly last month and it looked very impressive. What you're refering to with the Futaba 2.4 is just the initial linking process. You do this just once to introduce the tx and rx to each other. So you only fly that model as it were. Sorry, perhaps I should have made it clearer. David.
  12. Looks good in the flesh too Bladerunner. I saw it fly last month and it's a peach. He's working on a Sunderland flying boat now! David.
  13. Allan, the problems are very isolated. The gifts are sent in batches, I believe some should be going off this week. David.
  14. OK, the June issue should be with subscribers any day now and in the shops later this week. Let us have any thoughts, queries, comments you may have. We do listen to everything we hear and try to factor your thoughts into the mag where we can. Thanks as always, your support and posts are appreciated. David and Graham.
  15. Johnnie and Antony can you give me a call and I'll be able to help. David 01689 899259.
  16. No that's fine Phil, many thanks. The Ripmax Spit' os a fine model. I rather like the look of their ME109 due this year too. David.
  17. We're hoping to make it the free plan in our early autumn special issue, watch this space.
  18. Well done Danny, next week for the 'B' then? ;-)
  19. Is that big enough Alistair, You'll need essentials like a fridge, drinks cabinet, TV, satellitebox, dvd player...just to make it habitable ;-)
  20. You're welcome Mike. My cat keeps tying to catch mine, I always have to keep a look out for a black and white thing flying though the air and take evasive action. David.
  21. Tell us what you'd like to see Phil, more of something or less of something? Or just good informative reading?
  22. Like it Alistair, yes indeed, Hmm, watch this space. David. PS. would you be up for the £50 challege yourself ? ;-)
