  1. Sorry chaps, I've only just spotted these posts from the weekend. First of all, it looks like the issue of the tubes has been resolved. SLEC list the tubes by the diameter of the aluminium tube rather than the phenolic outer. So you would need a 36" length of 19mm tube and an 18" length of 12mm which will fit into the 22mm and 16mm holes shown in the wing ribs and fuselage sides. The paint I used was Matt Klasskote Buff from Fighteraces. Jim.
  2. I took the model down to Headcorn last week where Graham Ashby took some pictures of it enjoying the beautiful Kent sunshine!
  3. It was a bit murky this morning but the wind was straight down the strip and, with no valid excuses remaining, I got some fresh air under the M23c's wheels. Happy to report an entirely uneventful test flight, followed by two more. Three clicks of aileron trim had it flying hands off very nicely indeed! One happy model designer here!
  4. They do look very similar don't they? I did consider building a Klemm when I designed this but decided against it as there seem to be quite a few Klemm models but not so many of the M23. As for the engine, there was an M23c with an inline engine as well.
  5. Laura Steele (soon to be Laura Newberry!) adds scale to the model. Finally a sunny day for photographs but much too windy to risk flying.
  6. Thanks Torsten, I'd be interested to know whether people prefer the single seater or twin seater version.
  7. In my last post I said that there were "only a few jobs left until the maiden".... Those few jobs have taken me three months to get around to finishing, but I finally got there last night. I made a second battery hatch so that I can swap between the two seat tourer version and the single seater with forward cockpit faired over for racing. While I was at it I also rebuilt the undercarriage as I wasn't happy with the first one. So here it is. I'll be getting some better pictures once the sun comes out.
