  1. Having been re-united with this gem . I've not got past the kissing stage. The wife is most jealous
  2. Wonderful Steve. Your pictures have persuaded me to get me to get mine finished and ready for the next flying season. I started mine quite a few years ago , ended up being distracted on other projects . I have also been able to find a NIB OS fs60 open rocker to fit into this (hidden in a tea chest from a house move some 30 years ago). So thank you for the timely reminder.
  3. Jon. Are you going to building anymore v300 or 360's?
  4. Thanks Bob, I'll trawl RCG again. I'd appreciate it if you could let me have a copy of the instructions if you come across them. Regards, Taj
  5. Thanks Bob, Not spoken to you for a while. Hope you are ok. I had read through the posts on the RC Group , still wanted to look at a copy of the Instructions specifically relating to CG setup . Take care.
  6. I'm looking for a set of instructions for the Hobbyking AC10 Autogyro. I've looked on the web and have not been able to find one. I'm hoping someone on the forum site can help. Many thanks
  7. I've decided to go for the Genace ones. Not all that much more expensive once the HK courier fees have been added on.
  8. I've put out a message to other members. No takers so far Driving up there even post lockdown is not feasible.
  9. I was looking to buy some 6S 5000 plus mAh. . It would appear that the courier fee of £36.48 (Dangerous goods) applies to batteries (I assume this might apply to other cell chemistries ) where its in excess of 100W/hrs. eg 6s (22.2v) x 4500mAh = 99.99W/Hrs and that appears to be fine for transit by Parcel force (apologies all, I mentioned RM in a previous post - shows my age!) Jeff. I have bought some Sunpawdo 60c 5100mAh 6S via Amazon for £53 each (no delivery charge and arrived the next day) . None left now so kicking myself for not buying more. I shall run these and see how they perform over a period (subject to being allowed to fly)
  10. Hello Brian/KC Many thanks I will look into HRB Lipo's . KC . Nothings free in life ? . Read through it . Basically Lipo's are not eligible if in excess of 100W/hr . ie Amps X Volts = Watts (I think) . Oh and also minimum order is $100 and other exclusions/exclusion lists etc.
  11. Thanks Brian . I've not had any experience with the brands sold via Amazon. Which ones did you buy?
  12. I've tried to buy some Lipos from the UK warehouse and shipping to a UK address was estimated at £36.48 . It seems that HK are unable to use R.M at present for Lipo's or"heavy packages" and this is now their standard charge from 0g to 18kg. Has anyone else had similar issues? Other co's are charging approximately 20% of this to courier a battery over to me , I can't understand why HK can't . Are there any employee's from the Suffolk warehouse on this forum as the live chat response is of no real help.
  13. How do I access the digital copies of the old magazines (which I could on the old website) Also why does my browser come up with message site not secure?
  14. Sorry to say I share Cuban*'s views . I shall give it a try though. I also note that it comes up as "Site not Secure" on the chrome search bar
