  1. Hi Tigerman, A group of us all fly Freewing EDF aircraft i.e Hawk, ME 262, Yak , L39 Albatros, 104, Venom Mig, A10 etc etc Two of my friends fly the Phantom and they fly lovely, you need a little bit more room for the take off run ( we fly off of grass) but once in the air the Phantom is a wonderful flier. Spares are readily available ?
  2. Hi Steve, Bought the vinyl logos from Callie Graphics. They were meant for a Freewing BAE Hawk, but I just liked the look, so cut my own yellow and blue and adapted most of the vinyl logo's to fit
  3. Heres my latest creation, not a build, but make over of a Chris Foss Acro-wot foam e. Loosely based on Nigel Mansell's Williams
  4. Heres my latest creation, not a build, but make over of a Chris Foss Acro-wot foam e
  5. I can't take credit for the paper panel technique on my Zero Martin. I think I first tried it years ago after seeing an article by the late great Brian Taylor. Loved all his warbirds. I remember drooling over his BF109E in Radio Modeller magazine in the 70s
  6. Yes that's my Zero ?Thanks for the kind comments. Just need to fly it more. Yesterday was the first time for a year !
  7. Flew my Focke Wulf, Spitfire, Zero and Neiuport Bebe on Sunday. Met some friendly new faces. Very impressed with the organisation and the flight line officials. Great day despite the weather trying to ruin it in the morning
  8. Not exactly a build, but a much modified, hand brush painted markings etc, etc different pilot and airbrushed weathering Freewing Spitfire 1600, flies beautifully on 6 cell 4500 pack. have now fitted an RC sound system, yet to fly it with that fitted, but looking forward to it
  9. Yes i remember that Stampe flying at the West Malling show in the nineties. It was build very lightly and the pilot ( Belgium i think) flew it very well, almost 3 D !. I flew a modified D B 1/3 scale Neiuport 24 bis at the same show
  10. Thanks John, I know they postponed last years show till later in the year. Would they really have two shows in one year ? I'm not complaining ?
  11. Hi David, sorry to seem a bit slow on the uptake, but has the Weston Park show now been moved to Sept ?
  12. In my experience of using silicon tubing in exhaust systems, unless maybe its very remote, and in a straight line, it is a dead loss and will always require replacing regularly. If its curved or at a right angle it just blows a hole in it
  13. HI, If i can add my two penneth, Yes you can silver solder stainless steel. I make all my tailwheel yokes, elevator joiners etc out of 22 gauge stainless and it silver solders really strongly. I second Johns advice about using stainless for the silencer
