New Issue CAA Operator Number
sticky fingers replied to Capt Kremen's topic in All Things Model Flying
Seems to me that all this hoo ha has been confusing, ambiguous load of codswallop.Nobody in the Aviation beaurocracy seem to know their arm from their bottom, when all we want to do is go to the flying field and fly our little non passenger carriers into the blue clear sky -

The Gov't, CAA, BMFA & UAV legislation thread
sticky fingers replied to Nigel R's topic in All Things Model Flying
This whole issue has been a unmitigated mess ever since someone somewhere saw £ signs.Having dealt with the CAA in the past I personally would not trust them to run a decent bath never mind Air legislation -
Got mine yesterday am

May I point out that the swastika, is a budhist religious, symbol and not just as we see it here in the west as a Nazi symbol of terror. Buddhist temple which I have visited have tiles all the way up the tower to th top

pleased as punch that Will is still trading, products are fantastic and fresh, been a bit quiet on the modelling front of late, nice to know we can maintain contact with a supplier of quality home brewed products -
Your power supply could be a 12 volt battery , an electric fire element straightened and a simple bow assembly , experimentation is the key as the length of wire and power input all dependent on wing span. Wing panels can be made in sections and joined.

hi Andy, The original junior 60 had the tail assembly banded on to enable packing to be added to trim the aircraft in a stable glide, ,the only movable surface was a small rudder controlled by an escapement mechanism. my advice would be to do some mods and add an elevator. another good move would be to go to a club local to yourself and talk to an experienced modeller. What area do you live in ,I am in the North west
