  1. See if this works... o2czz2XPNM never can post you tube on this site. Chris...
  2. I don't believe that right hand circuits will be quite as good as left handers...although I'm sure ,many would not agree with me . As rule of thumb. I have found with this size model .the off set should be about 6mm to the right. Are you familiar with the hanging thrust test to check the thrust line? Chris...
  3. I think that my model fly's with about 4-5 deg back tilt. Be VERY careful not to pull back to get your model into the air Tilt head back fully to get head up to speed and as that happens slowly open throttle to get the model moving into the wind...so with head coming up to speed reduce back tilt and increase throttle so the model should be moving faster with head spinning fast . continue to increase throttle and when the model is ready it should lift by itself... and then you can apply back tilt if necessary. If your not happy at any time … pullout Pulling back on the head at low speed will only end in grief....been there done that. Happy landings Chris...
  4. David Oh yes ..that is a great looking version. Rich Ok I will remove the stab from my Mantis ….What could go wrong Chris...
  5. Rich ... I have noticed over the years that you like to remove the horizontal stab when ever possible. BUT doing that gives you less of the model to see and I for one need to be able to see as much of these flying machines as possible. Chris...
  6. Looks like a dead ringer for the Du-Bro. .Comes in just under $20.00 Kangaroo Dollars. Happy landings. Chris...
  7. Yes the DU-BRO balancer was a pricy bit of kit but it is very accurate and at the same time can be very frustrating ….cos its accurate...and you can find yourself chasing your tail .I was not aware of a copy ..but at the same time ,it's not surprising....doesn't every thing get copied these days. I'm sure it will come into use on future autogiro projects. Good luck with the balancing. Chris...
  8. I can understand why Rich did not fit a steerable nose wheel...and that's because the rudder has enough authority for any ground tracking and quite often steerable nose wheels have been known to take a bit of a bashing. Chris...
  9. Rich What I mean by black box...is where there is supposed to be a video, and I did see the one you posted of my "balancing Act " for a short time...but now it's a black box. I also find this site runs very slow. I type the words and then sit and wait to see them appear.(strange) Chris...
  10. Thanks Rich as I said...must be simple me .I was going to put up a flying Revolver video ..but I'm pretty sure it will not appear. You know I must be good at something....just haven't found out yet what it is ( I had better be quick) Chris...
  11. Is there a problem with the video clips on this site ?...or it could just simply be me … because I only black boxes. Chris...
  12. Rich I was thinking when I built this model that this would be the one to fly as a two blade. Over the years I have tried a Minimum,Mantis and Atom.....but to be honest they were all on the twitchy side and not as "comfortable "to fly. SOOOOOOO I do hope you show us the "magic" two blade conversion for this model. Happy Landings Chris...
  13. I do like the colours and your build . I have not seen that selection for many years .I remember that Peter O used it on his Minimum. Happy Landings Chris...
  14. And I had the whole field to myself! Happy Landings Chris...
  15. I took a couple of other model also...……...
  16. Tim I'm using DYS D3536 1000kv turning a 10X 5 ..plenty of power Chris...
