I haven't yet received the November issue but I built a Wingamagig several years ago from the original plan in the April 1982 issue of Radio Modeller. The fact that its still flying is a testement to how robust it is, very!. It's just great fun to fly. It can do what looks and sounds like a supersonic low pass down the strip, turn, and make the return trip at almost walking pace. If it's flown up to some height and slowed down it will loiter around looking quite evil. The local bird population are very suspicious of it. I built mine for electric power, 1100Kv motor, and fitted two servos centrally. Build and enjoy.

Well done Toto. You do reasise that once you are afflicted by this bug there is no known cure, you are infected for life! Keep at it. Autumn can provide some lovely flying weather.

I've had several Super 60s. They're just a terrific model that loves to fly. Build one with an aileron wing, fit a FourStroke and go and enjoy yourself.

I think that building a new fuselage from the correct plan is the way to go.

That's the setup I usually use printing plans KC and don't usually have any problems. But, I've discovered that there are two versions of the Outlaw plan on Outerzone! One seems to be a copy of the original and the other is a cleaned up version. The cleaned up copy prints out 3" short, the copy of the original plan is correct. Back to square one I think.

Several years ago I had many enjoyable hours flying a KK Outlaw until a close contact with the ground badly damaged the fuselage. However the wing survived imtact. A few weeks ago having grown tired of looking at the wing hanging up in the workshop I decided to build a new fuselage for electric power so I downloaded the plan from Outerzone and set to work. All went well until today when I got to the stage of offering up the wing to the almost completed fuz. It immediately became apparent that all was not well and having measuered the old, never throw anything away, and new fuselages I found that the new one is 3" shorted than the original! The question now is, should I bin the whole lot or carry on regardless?

It's almost a shame to cover it. The build quality is beautiful.

I also prefer black type on a white background rather than the "Arty" approach. I think I also read that"other magazine" and agree with the points made. However I think the Editor is making great efforts to keep it going. Long may he succeed. Its had a price increase this month too.

I love Four Stroke IC but electric is just so reliable and convenient.

The suspense is keeping us awake Peter!! What is it?? A Super 60?? I have a niggle in the back of my head to build an Auster. Maybe if I ignore it the niggle will go away.

I honestly don't remember not having access. Predating Covid by many many years.

I think that this is another step in the wrong direction by the new publishers. I have been a subscriber for many years and a buyer of the magazine for decades before that and suddenly I can't access the digital archive because my subscription is print only!. Luckily I have my own archive in the attic but I'll be giving some thought as to whether its worth renewing my sub when it expires.

Will the Archive be made available to Print only subcribers again?

4-Max are probably the most helpful online supplier I've dealt with and their products are first class.

Did you consider including flaps EB? I downloaded the Mini Super plans back in November with the intention of building the taildragger version with ailerons and flaps however the need to build a new Fournier wing, don't ask, pushed that idea on to the back burner,

In the unlikely event that anyone is interested, the item I pictured was the Free Gift, remember those, in the very first issue of RCM&E. I'm sure it will come in useful some day.

If anyone can rember back a few days before the forum was struck with Bird Flu, Slide Rules and Calculators were mentioned. Does this ring a bell with anyone?

Thanks guys. At the moment the Mini Super is just an idea in the back of my head, but from experience I can recognise that as a dangerous sign! It might be something nice for the warm Spring days, if we all survive that long... I would opt for electric power and the versions on here with ailerons and flaps look very interesting.

A question for all you Mini Super experts. There are two versions of the plan on OZ. Is one preferred over the other or does it matter? FF

Deans work very well. Just don't use a screwdriver blade to separate them!!!
