The Green topped one looks like a Flair kit to me. The puppeteer?
-
All four servos are indentical make and theres nothing wrong with Hitecs i think im using, would need to strip the wing to double check or find the manual. Its a kit so the horns are exactly where they should be close to hinge line all at the same distance. Ailerons all same thickness. Tx shows all throws on the trims are zero. As mentioned there maybe some subtrim adjustments in there to align the ailerons at neutral but not a lot. i will get it sorted thanks gents

Thanks i understand differential ,but should clear up that the plane has four seperate servos for each aileron, and the control rods are the same length as per the manual, and all on the same control horns with matching holes etc. yet the bottom servos have less movement than the tops. I will measure the angles of movement and report back. cheers dp

Should a Biplane with Ailerons on Both Wings have equal movement up and down? ie top left and bottom left Both say 20mm and obviously matching on otherside. Or Can the Top ailerons be 20mm and the bottoms be 10/14mm ? or even more on the bottom wing than the Top? Electric Hanger9 Beast 60E Many thanks

i drive an E partner for Royal Mail around hertfordshire Villages and ive had Four punctures this year due to Hedge Cutting Tractors Shredding the bushes and leaving lethal spikes all over the lanes. Hate to think what that costs RM every year!!

Interestingly the emails for tracking said your 51Cargo package is in transit.............Thats a Manchester based Warehouse. -
Hot soldering iron is good enough to get most of the foam out of the holes. Is that servo box in the correct place?

so your complaining about £12 a year yet the Four LMA shows are spread across the year and the Country so travelling to and from these four shows plus food and stall purchases saves you what???

Ron Can you get your Larger models in your new EV easily? Like the hangar9 D7?? i drive an EV van for work (pug Partner) and have been thinking about the change, but reluctant to get rid of a good Mondeo Estate.

WWI ¼ scale wheels for Hangar 9 Fokker DVII
dave parnham replied to Ron Gray's topic in Scale Matters
Ron not knowing where or how old your kit is but mine came with a lot of the mods suggested already done, ie the wheels were already bushed with brass tube and they appear to be good quality wheels similar to the usual Williams bros quality. I havent actually flown mine yet still final running in of the DLE 55cc and final placement of batteries etc. CG measurement with no wings is unusual but spot on. -

Modelair Scale Weekend 22/23 July23
dave parnham replied to Robert Welford's topic in Shows, Club Events and Competitions
Yes the draw for me was the slec/belair tent by far the largest of the the tents, there was also Als Hobbies but it was at a brief glance all old jetex stuff which of course is part of the multi disciplines at the show the BMFA tent was there and Microaces and the Tools tent but not much more. Not gonna moan at getting in for 9 pounds as i want to take some pics for my 1/3 scale Pup too. If there had been better weather and some flying i wouldnt have been unhappy at going up there, it is was it is as they say. -
Modelair Scale Weekend 22/23 July23
dave parnham replied to Robert Welford's topic in Shows, Club Events and Competitions
i went Saturday morning, printed my bmfa docs and showed them at the gate and swiped my card (no cash entry) for £9 pounds Great i thought. Then it went down hill from there....never seen it set up like that before, the campers seem to have the best spot opposite the flight line for what i would call normal club type models, it was only nine fifteen in the morning and spitting with rain, so i had only seen a black Flair DR1 and two fun fighter sized planes one Hurricane and a Spitfire. I managed to park very easily opposite the hangers even though the parking warden seemed to make it look like the most difficult thing in the world to organise. And so i went to the Slec/belair tent and spent 50 quid and then the tool market another 15 sp far so good. Wandered about past the rest of the very dissapointing tents ((except for Microaces)could have spent a fortune there)) It rained so i sat in the Mondeo estate and watched the single control Liner and the single free flighter listening to the larks and the distant 3d aerobatics going on up by the tenting. I went to see the Hangers and tempted by the food smells headed towards the much smaller souvenir shop, but decided against the food and drink. Wandered around the entire sight and back to the car as the rain and wind did seem to put all activity on hold. It a long walk from the hangers to the flight line and back. Left and went home having seen very little fly by 12:15 To call it a scale day? well im amused and perhaps a little miffed but hey ho.
