  1. I wonder what happened to all the money when they sold the Enfield site that was proposed to have 100 odd flats and 10 shops built on it
  2. you can message me as I was the one who made all the glowplugs for about the last 8 years
  3. Optifuel have all the tooling, parts and Platinum alloy wire, but don't seem to be interested
  4. There are still some Model Technics Supercat 4 Stroke plugs for sale on Ebay
  5. I can't say ASH as I don't know - they have the ability to order the Klotz oils as they already buy from them but as to what they put in at the moment I can't say. I would like to think they use the same formulas as we gave them !
  6. The SICAL additive was put in at 1% ( Jon is correct on that) , but the actual active ingredients were a tiny fraction of that as most of the 1% was in fact EDL oil - thats the only way we could meter all the ingredients in accurately
  7. If its got a 5ltr label on it, it will be the Klotz oil variant by Optifuel as Model Technics only sold UK gallons in the UK !
  8. they are quite old( 90's) and I believe its was a 1/12 / 1/10 car steering servo
  9. Hi All I would just like to thank everyone who has used our fuels in the past- The Model Technics Factory has now closed and in future Optifuel will take over production. Hopefully this should allow everyone to still be able to get hold of our fuels via the favourite supplier. Phil ( and everyone at Model Technics)
  10. I think he means G-Max stopped making fuel ( over 30 years ago ) but still make ML70 which gets sold all over the world
  11. FirePower plugs were first on sale around 1994/95. When we looked at everyone else's element they were all platinum alloys - iirc none of them were plated on a steel( or otherwise ) core. We were very fortunate to have access to a scanning electron microscope at the time which could somehow give us which metals were used in the alloys, all of which were various precious metals apart from one which used a small amount of tungsten.
