  1. Presumably, it'a designed for a hovering machine (multi-rotor or heli)...?
  2. Incredibly frustrating toto....... it must get better!
  3. It's scarily pointed too - luckily, if it hits anyone it'll be travelling reallllllyyyyyyy slowly...
  4. Heavy rain here today as well - grass is loving it because it is warm rain... 😒
  5. You could have dropped in for a coffee at the field if you were near Bridlington.....
  6. Certainly felt like Spring for me today. So I say.... yes, let's go to the Spring thread and feel Summer approaching.
  7. Don't believe anyone ever suggested it was illegal...... Find somewhere safe, where you're actually allowed to fly, fly sensibly and safely, don't damage the hobbies reputation any more, and fill yer boots.
  8. And look at BNMFA Clubfinder..... https://bmfa.justgo.com/clubFinder.html Also check out the CAA regs...... and BMFA membership?
  9. Beautiful day on NE Coast - warm (sometimes t-shirt warm!), calm, sunny. A grand total of 3 of us at the field....... the ground is now firm enough to park on the field and avoid the 20/30 metre walk 🙂 Lubricating the power unit in my little Arrows Hawk means I can continue to fly it with my existing LiPos - good news! My Double Trouble continues its fuss-free-fun-delivery. My Wot4 didn't fare so well - about 20 seconds after take off I got a telemetry lost' warning and it flew a lovely curved arc into the ground from about 150 feet. Fuselage smashed to pieces back to the wing, engine totally buried with only about 5cm of the muffler above the earth..... led on rx still solid so radio link re-established. I hate crashes when I did nothing wrong. It wasn't its first flight of the day. I subsequently flew my Hawk again (after a successful range check) so I can only suspect the rx - which is headed for the bin anyway following such an impact. I left the 2 Kevs enjoying the sun, while I sulk and veg out to 8 hours of rugby, accompanied by beer and beige baked snacks.....
  10. Mine reads the current/voltage in real time so can't 'store' anything......
  11. How is your Throttle Hold set up?
  12. It's ok ta Martin. Maybe I misunderstood....
  13. It's only like the fuel consumption figures for ic vehicles... some of those too are largely unobtainable as well. It's advertising - take everything with a large pinch of salt. And exaggerations are not confined to electric vehicles!
  14. Presumably, if the forum is down/broken, that web page will be too........... an email address would be separate.
  15. You could try filing some teeth into your hole cutter......
  16. Several brands come with spacers................ I think the point was that not all APC props come with spacers, only the electric ones.
  17. Worrying indeed. Sadly, given some of the posts seen on Social Media, I'd not be surprised if it were true....
  18. You pays your money, and takes your choice......
  19. Yeah, I've bought a couple of small things, with no issues or problems. As leccyflyer says, they don't deliver large items....
  20. RIP Chris. May the skies above him always be blue, and his landings safe........
  21. I think the Nation Trust believes non-powered flight has less impact on the environment - other land owners/managers may share that view......
  22. I don't disagree entirely - just didn't want to start a 'brand-war' over RC technology 🙂
  23. ALL this modern technology is brilliant - don't think Spektrum is particularly far advanced. But anyway, glad you sorted it!
