    David, thanks for the advice. I think I'll struggle on with my old set for now and see how things pan out.

    I am looking to buy a new transmitter as my old Challenger set is a bit past it. My question now is should I stick with the traditional radio sets, try the new spread spectrum sets or wait until the big manufacturers bring out theirs?
