  1. The September, 2022 free plan was of the 48' Max Brugger Colibri. The C of G is 75mm back of the leading edge.
  2. Hi Pedro - this is how I do it: - go to the "RCME HOME" tab at the top of this page - Go to the "DIGITAL ARCHIVE" at the top of that page and "LOG in" - go to the filing cabinet icon [4th button from the left] and pick a magazine - go to the download button [5th from the left] and pick on it - scroll to the bottom and pick on the plan page and download it - open the download with free Adobe Reader - it downloads to and A4 size so to print it to an A1 size you need to print at 283% I use the “take a snapshot” button under the “Edit/More” button to print small areas such as ribs or bulkheads. For the whole print you can tile it or take it to a printshop.
  3. The Whip Power P-84 design calls for a rounded leading edge as per the last paragraph in the article: Cut both the wing and tail surfaces from fairly soft light 1/8 balsa sheet. Sand all surfaces to a streamlined section.
  4. I'm a Canadian digital subscriber and am totally happy with the new digital archive. It got really messed up a couple of years ago, but this latest change has made it better than it ever was. Thank you for that.
  5. I use Hanger 9 Ultrastripe here in Canada. It's available on Amazon and comes in all kinds of colours and widths, along with multi stripes
  6. What would you suggest for a spares list besides a couple of propellers and rotor blades?
  7. Like many, I have been building plastic models off and on for most of my life. Here's one of the last projects I built with my dad about 15 years ago.
  8. https://www.robotshop.com/ca/en/sabertooth-dual-12a-regenerative-motor-driver.html This is the Sabertooth controller in my boat. The paddlewheels can go forward, reverse, also in opposite directions and at any speed. I control it with my Spectrum Dx6 using one stick for throttle and the other stick for rudder / motor direction.
  9. The Mtroniks Tank mixer was made for this job. I use a similar type of "Robot" controller available locally in Canada for my sidewheel paddle wheeler RC model. https://www.cornwallmodelboats.co.uk/cgi-bin/sh000001.pl?WD=mtroniks&PN=Mtroniks-Tank-Mixer-Waterproof-MMT.html#SID=1866
  10. John - it's in the centre of Canada, Winnipeg, Manitoba At the moment it's snowing and the winds are at 29, gusting to 38 kph. No flying today.
  11. Here's one of our pilot boxes right now. We just taxi out on pontoons or skies from the sun shade. There are five of them, each roomy enough for a pilot and a spotter [for when times are busy].
  12. Cover Grip may help https://deluxematerials.co.uk/collections/emulsion-adhesives/products/cover-grip I've used for regular covering material and the Deluxe website says it will even attach aluminium foil.
  13. Looks like great fun, I'm going to have to start on my Baron. I've had the plans printed out for a couple of years now. I'll have to find yours and Chris's threads on building it.
