Must be winter - once I've cleared the "fix me up from the summer's flying" list, I'll dig out the Spitfire again. Wing nearly complete.

Took me 20 years to build the La-7, just started on the Spitfire (only a year so far, and the wing is mostly built). Sure put me down for a twin. Electric of course.

Hi Chris, Seems like I'm very late to the party. Just started with Arduinos a few weeks ago, and am building a vario sensor based on the OpenXSensor page. Do you have any of the PCB boards left? Don't worry if not. Was there anything in the magazine article that you've not covered here. I've tried to get hold of a back issue, but there doens't seem to be any available. Many thanks. David

Also check the tailplane is ok. Me and a mate had one each a few years ago, and both of the tailplanes fractured (and we had trimmed back the covering film using a soldering iron to take away the problem of cutting through the tailplane when removing the covering to stick the tailplane in place).   I also painted the rather bright green with something more suitable, it looked a lot better after this.   Cheers.   Dave
