  1. This is the 1100mm wing span model PKZ6220. New or good secondhand one .
  2. Do you think flaps would be a more beneficial option? The more I slow her down the better.
  3. Thanks , the reason for wheels is we use a rough path, a few stones, the grass has large rocks in it and has been known to demolish a model, we are quite used to landing on the path with prop jobs, I'm hoping to cut the power and bring her in slowly, she will have AS3X which will help also.🤞
  4. The latest one, by Freewing 64mm for 4S batteries 12 blade motor.
  5. Is anyone flying the new V2 4s version. If so can the rudder be made to work? I am going to fit the landing gear will that stop me using the bungee catapult launch ramp. Any help please.

    Wanted urgently

Right there I no shops that deal with RC AIRCRAFT, they are all plastic kits and RC cars, and far more expensive than if you export them yourself. We in our group get our batteries from Belgium which we get if in stock about a week ( courier) and at a good price, kits, parts etc anywhere in the EU no import duty. We tend to stay away from UK shops as the price, P&P import duty makes them very expensive. Our nearest flying field is in Limassol, if you can call it that, it's on the salt flats and controlled by the RAF at Akrotiri. And because of high winds is limited. And it's an hour and half to get there, find strong winds turn round and come home. There are no clubs in Peyia they closed years ago. I thank you for you reply to this. We are about 5 and fly of a dirt track twice a week. And we are plague by beautiful woman in bikinis walking by us. Very hard to concentrate. But we all have our problems.😜

Point taken on the title. Yes they are available, but not in Cyprus, infact we don't have model shops and we don't have clubs, I think I'm the only one that flys for medical problems, and now I have a Newby that wants to learn safe flying he to has medical trouble. And he can't afford it, everything we want we have to import and pay import tax. Just hopping someone has a SAFE Rx they don't want and don't want the earth for it.

Has anyone got a SPECTRUM RECEIVER , must have SAFE and AS3X . Wanted for beginner model. Must be willing to post to Cyprus.
  9. Thanks Glenn, I'll have a look.
  10. My old Parkzone Stinson crashed due to pilot error, and as usual the cowl was destroyed and I can't get another. I've tried looking for anything that could fit , normal things like plastic bottles, etc nothing. Is there any firm that does 3d printing, or any other type of molding. I'm not worried about it looking right I just want some form of cowl. Any ideas please.

    Wanted Cowl.

Has anyone got a Parkzone Stinson Reliant cowl. Any condition as long as it's not smashed.
  12. Thank you. Please to know it can be 👍
  13. I had a bad crash with my Apprentice s, the rear fuselage snapped in two. ( Foam ) Done the usual repair kebab sticks both sides and one under the tailplane, stuck with UHU POR. Very strong joint, BUT I have noticed that it has slightly gone out of true to the left, it crabed when we test flew it. NOW THE QUESTION, can I straiten it with gentle heat with an iron ? I can bend it cold to the correct alignment but I don't want to cut it again. Will heat work. Any ideas.
  14. Just an update, sorry for the delay ,I thought this thread was finished. All I done was sand it down dry, tacked it off and painted it with Vallejo model air paint. No primer. The paint is Acrylic already thined for an airbrush but I brushed it on, it's very thin so two coats was used and it's perfect. I don't think it has added much weight as it flys ok.
  15. Frank my apologies for not replying to you. Thank you, but I'm going with the sanding and painting route,as it seems to be going well.
