  1. Start by checking this bit Andy Firmware upgrade After connecting the M6DAC to the computer with the USB cable in the box, the computer will recognize a USB disk named Toolkit, download the upgrade file app.upg on the official website Copy and Paste the new file to overwrite the previous files in the USB disk, and the firmware can be upgraded.
  2. It is correct lads, that low mileage can badly effect the battery. Many companies recommend 4000 miles per year minimum to maintain a battery. If you do have to run a low mileage regime, the battery needs topping up. To achieve a good input from a car alternator typically occurs around 40mph, and a minimum top up should be around 30 minutes, Therefore it you find the battery lacking, nip out onto the dual carriageway for 30 minutes or a spin down the motorway for 15 minutes.
  3. My main club said our winter goodbyes last September, and hopes we could fly again in March 2024, but due to weather and water logging, we have fingers crossed for April.
  4. For your safety Martin, your charger shows a " Low Voltage error " because the charger wants nothing to do with your lipos lack of life. If you try any of the revival hacks, then have your Eyes on the set up at all times, and check for anything warming up. as suggested, and my view too, just buy a new lipo.
  5. absolutely moisture Andy, and temperature Metallurgists know fully the implications of temperature and moisture making changes to most metals, and surprisingly, non ferrous metals usually more weatherproof, but add polarity and stuff starts falling apart
  6. 3mm LH studding Stew Look at the 1/10th scale rc car lads Tie rods and track rods, 3mm LH
  7. Yes Aidan, you are no novice, perfect flying of this multimotor warbird, with attention to keep it on the move at all times, right down to landing. The types can bite you, but your ability to maintain smooth level wing flying made this a joy to watch.
  8. All, good advice given here Neddy, but for a good chance of success, the Gain should be turned right down initially, as suggested. Let's test your set up before the maiden. The Stab should be fixed down, cushioned, but no movement. Now switch the tranny, model and rx on. lift the port wing, the port aileron, should go Up. lift the starboard wing, the starboard aileron should move Up. Now lift the tail, the elevator should move Up. moving to the side of the model push the tail away from you, the Rudder should deflect away. pull the tail towards you, the Rudder should deflect towards you. Now turn each gain down, just enough to just hear each servo respond to movement. give the model a fly
  9. Here we go again Am watching with interest
  10. Now you have success Thoroughly check the roller on the right, and the corresponding click button As all along, your roller may not have rolled or the clicker clicked You can pick up the whole mechanism online to replace it or use switch cleaner
  11. I have gained 2 extra indoor models for my DX6i simply by plugging a Spektrum Satellite Receiver into DSM to the main board of models marked thus
  12. I know this combination works, the NX8 and the AR8360T, as have helped out at least three lads. But, these were done without the extra helps and whistles of dual rate and expo. Have found over time that giro in general can reject failsafe, and twice have had to to buy a failsafe. Have found too, 2 things about Spectrum throttle, that it needs a value present, and can appear OFF, but is reversed and not trimmed UP. Also, Spektrum Kill Switch, has to free moving to 104% And Servo travel can make throttle inopperable. I would try next using the TAER regular channels without rates to check working

  14. Stu, the ESC are very versatile and easily BEEP - Beeped into an unwanted programme sequence, so look again here At the Frequency too
  15. Oh Derek, please check that the 18x8 is not a Typo mistake, as it seems so being way overpropped.
  16. Generally with BNF, you have to cut carefully and straight enough to replace parts. Parts from Earlybirds video are here
  17. Here is the 10J compatibility list Rocker
  18. If this is the transmitter Neddy 1st presented It was designed That you can select correctly and electronically Mode 1 or Mode 2
  19. At 5 - 6 foot, by 1 foot square, boxes are expensive, around £20 Simon, but you can make one from boxes with strip wood framing. Carriers need a phone call and deliver 5 - 6 foot packages £10 - £15. This is why most sellers advertise large items to collect.
  20. In settings Go to Ground in view, and tick that Now fly
  21. Sorry to harp on again about the value of flight sims, set up correctly with Ground IN View. Over the decades at my 2 clubs, chaps have arrived at the field, and flown reliably enough to be flying alone, without previous instruction, but had used flight sims to gain knowledge, 5 chaps. Other able flyers have learned and practiced acrobatics to bring to the field, learned at home. Just use a flight SIM 10 - 15 minutes a day, to move forward.
  22. Right Ned The transmitter should be fully charged, but not switched ON. The transmitter is always switched OFF The transmitter comes ON when the Phono is plugged into it. The computer uses just the sticks of the transmitter and does not need the RF board live.
  23. One end of your Phono lead goes into the USB dongle, the dongle then goes into the computer USB socket Then the remaining Phono goes into the back of your transmitter
  24. My Phoenix does work on Windows 11, but I have to follow this sequence for it to launch. Assume the Phoenix is installed and the computer is now OFF. Get the transmitter, which is also Off, and plug in its Phono lead plug. The transmitter will then come on. Now put the other USB end into the computer. Now switch on the computer and allow loading to finish. Now try to launch Phoenix.
