I was considering selling my laser G30 , petrol 180. A potential buyer said that Laser Engines stated that no more petrol engines will be built ,till further notice, and that they will no longer supporting the engine as regards servicing and parts. Has anyone else heard of this , withdrawal of support, and does it apply to other development engines? Bill Like Comment Share

Hi I bought it new and unflown from a chap who got it under the proto and feedback scheme. Once fixed by jon i fitted it into the sig spacewalker as a testbed. It flies so well I have not transferred it to another airframe. I have not touch the needles since I got it nearly two years ago. Flies great until I broke the prop having stopped the engine on finals at the laser fly in . I programmed a switch to isolate the ignition, making it foolproof....some Idiot switched it off on short finals!!@@ Broke my lovely wooden prop. The one in the Fokker D8 has been run in by a fellow modeller who had two and sold me it as he is mainly into horizontally oppossed twin lasers. The D8 is currently stored in my neighbours garage till I can sell my Comper Swift with laser 150 and get some space in my shed!!!!
