  2. This is not good ( poor picture sorry) This is one of the extension leads for the retracts. I will have to check all the wiring, may end up replacing it all
  3. Here is a short video of the Hobbyking Bixler 2 unboxing Excellent delivery time, very well packaged, nice looking model. Thumbs up to Hobbyking UK
  4. Hobbyking delivery is quite good from Hongkong, in the UK, same as my LMS delivery wise. Will always prefer to go to my LMS, but 'the times they are a changing'.
  5. Seems a lot of foamys have this type of hinging, replaced all the foam hinges with CA hinges on my Hobbyking P-51. My E-flite Hurri is next on the list, will check the hinges and consider replacing. Any more E-flite Hurri owners with this hinge problems
  6. Well the E-Flite retracts are due anytime now,a few thought coming to the end of this build. Cost so far The model £68 plus £30 postage Esc 60 Amp £40 Control horns and CA hinges £10 Retracts £58 Misc £15 Total £220 approx Still good value compared to a H9 Mustang etc Not included the cost of lipos but they serve multiple models anyway . It has been on sale for several years now and the foamy models i'm sure are well improved since then. I may appear to moan a lot about this one but on the whole,if you are prepared to put a bit extra money and work you can have a decent model (i hope) in the end
  7. Hi Scott First I am not a Hobbyking Knocker, I say as I find. Good to know it is the post office(again). No I have not purely on the basis I should not have to. Several models purchased in the UK by mail from LMS all arrived in pristine condition via Parcelforce, seems like the customs may be the culprit In future I will not order any models from Hobbyking, unless I decide it is worth the petrol to pick it up from the UK warehouse and only after a visual inspection of the model . Need to save up some pennies first Kelvin
  8. Why did my Mustang arrive with a damaged canopy and minor crush damage ? If the kits are packed in the box by a team in Honkong,is the damage due to possibly customs taking bits outand not putting them back properly? eg the main U/C leg being packed inside the canopy on my Mustang causing creasing and scuff damage. Have a look at my unboxing video on to see what I mean

  12. Added ply plates to wing stubs and underside wing roots Got the idea to make the wings removable here **LINK** The undercarriage units need to br replaced, poor quality fittings and grubscews failed when trying to attach the u/c legs. If Hobbyking is following this thread a replacement cockpit canopy and the latest retract units would be nice Youtube link explains in a bit more detail It will fly eventually
