  1. Again we are making our minds up with no concrete facts. But I will say this, should the CAA deem a site unsuitable, despite the fact it may have been located and used for many years I think claims for compensation MUST be sought. certainly if you have paid a rent in advance or have a lease running, I would expect and urge the BMFA to go to Court on this matter and maybe even go to Court to overturn a CAA decision. And members of the BMFA should encourage it to do so as OUR national body. However we need to see the factual proposals before we can make a considered response.
  2. Would like to set up remote station. We have solar panels so power should be ok but how do yoi zet it up for remote access vua mobile or web and at what sort of cost for temote access. I assume some here have such a system and can pass their wisdom on.
  3. Some shafts have a circlip in addition to the grub screws and need carefull looking at to see them.
  4. Sunny and no wind, jus a little cool. The CAP 232 out today after its maiden some weeks ago. 3 flights but last landing not so and pulled undercarriage off. No other damage so lucky. However noted the elevator servo is quite stiff so think I will change it. The foamboard Bloody Barron had two flights. Its a real treat. Wednesday looks a potential nice weather day ??11
  5. You can always put them in a cup or bowl of hot water prior to use. Dont microwave the bottles melt!!!@

    Scams...again.

Digital storage is fine, but it can decay and come the day when energy to power equipment isnt there or heaven forbid authority takes and limits control paper will still be about. I appreciate photos can fade, particularly from digital printing. Old style photos fade too i know. But keptin albums pages closed not so readily. We have books and manuscripts going back thousands of years....
  8. If it has the AS3X option then yes you can according to stuff I have read.

    Scams...again.

Two via e mail one from Microsoft Inc re my e mail account needs verifying. Yeah right [email protected] I dont think so. The other from Natwest fraud team telling me my mobile number has been changed and if not please click on link below. Another 'F wit'
  10. I enjoyed the lower ranking play as well. The seedings were based on pre covid positions and with no matches being played they went back to that. So though Warren Gatland is right the fact is the games were not played.
  11. Nexus are still here. I heard Paul at the LMA show yesterday telling one of the visitors that he does not do shows anymore as the time was eating into his lesiure i.e. flying. Seems fair to me, work to live not the other way round.
  12. Cannot say I am a fan of the two loosing semi finalists playing a match. I understand the financial attraction for the game, provided the lesser nations get a bigger share, otherwise its not relevant. The object of the competition is to determine a winner not 1st 2nd 3rd place losers!. Hopefully the seeding will be better next world cup. That said I have enjoyed this one.
  13. Good home. Thought France was in Northern Hemisphrre and they did not disgrace any pitch

    Lawn Mower problem

take the plug out, leave battery disconnected engage gear and rotate blade or roller. This will usually disengage a starter.

    Scams...again.

E mail supposedly from MIcrosoft stating they are closing e mail and to click on link to update. The e mail address from which this came, when you interrogate the mail, is [email protected]. Obviously as thick as the people that fall for it.
  16. Whilst the Irish areof course squeaky clean!!!

    Electric Cars.

Does it really matter what the power source of the vehicle was! As for the building not being firesafe, really its a car park no residence above or below, no business properties above or below. You cannot prevent all potential sources of fire or explosion nor can you proscribe all 100% extinguishing systems, or even containment. Looks like an accident until or if its ever found otherwise. As for Rishi's minions, draw it in Matty B.
  18. I seem to recall Xjet doing a review on these under his Youtube channel RC model reviews
  19. Recognisable and repeatable fault which resulted in 3rd party damage I think would certainly give companies cause for concern as legal remedies I'm sure would be pursued. I am not aware of any manufacturer being subjected to such, unless of course someone knows different. I am not a fan of 'smart everything connected to everything' . Its to easy for these things to be manipulated. As regards software, when memory was cheap software had to be compact and precise, certainly it wasn't always error free, now with memory being cheap and pretty much unlimited, in my view, software seems more error prone. That quite naturally being human error which in a lot of cases results in 'dented' models. I have certainly been a victim of my own dumb thumbs.

    Scams...again.

Councils sell on the Voter Register, these are readily available in local libraries, however try and look through one. You have to ask the Librarian to access and then tell them the name or the street you wish to look at. You just cant bowl in and ask for a copy to peruse. At least not in the libraries I have been in, which are disappearing at an alarming rate, not solely down to cost cutting but lack of use.
