More progress on the tail.
The part to fill the gap glued to the fin.
and test fit which shows that a bit of trimming is needed.
Which is obvious when the tailplane is in place.
That looks better.

Temporary T shaped to the fuselage.
Balsa blocks made up.
And sanded to shape.
A lot of work for two small pieces of balsa is my first thought, but then it would look ugly without them, even at 50'

Like I did on the Ballerina. For some reason I did not think it would work, over thinking it I think.
Just waiting for glue to dry then add the fairing blocks.
It's full steam ahead now or should that be full throttle now?

Marking out on a piece of scrap 1/4" balsa then cutting out, leaving a margin of error.
Next is working out the side fillet shape.
