  1. Thanks Andy, It was all part of the kit, how the triangles and parallelograms fitted together did take a lot of working out. Steve
  2. Cut parts £88.73 Plan £3.00 all plus VAT and delivery. £120 more or less. Steve
  3. That's more good news for me as I have this exact setup in another model which flew fine but could do with more power. I will swap the 3548 and a new G46 so the G46 goes in the old model and the 3548 in Peggy Sue 2. As it happens I have 4S batteries from 2200 to 4000 so loads of choice.
  4. That's the set up I am thinking to use on 4S battery and 60 amp ESC. Good to know it flies a treat. Steve
  5. Interesting discussion about the motor size as mine will also be electric. I am studying the plans to see what else I can change. I have the cut parts from SLEC, sealed in a bag hidden under the bed to stop me getting them out and starting the build. Steve
  6. Cut parts and printed plan can be bought from SLEC.
  7. I have just had confirmation from SLEC that they will print the plan and cut new parts. Steve
  8. Children and Grandchildren do come in handy as fetcher mites 🤣 and launch ground crew. Steve
  9. I have the plan and cut parts from SLEC and once the building board is clear I will start. Steve
  10. It looks like I may have bought the last cut parts from SLEC. They will print more plans and cut parts I believe. The only way to find out is to email Chris, remember it's silly season and they are in the middle of a stock take so I hope no one is in a rush. I have asked if they will supply all the wood and hardware and what the prices are. Once I get a reply I will let you know. In the mean time I am studying the plan and resisting the temptation to open the cut parts. Thanks to Peter you all can study the pdf. Steve
  11. We are up and running. Anyone that has built either of these two please help by linking to their build, post photos, and answer any issues that builders have. I know I don't need to ask. Steve
  12. SLEC are in the middle of a stock take which is delaying a response to my enquiries as to the number of Peggy Sue 2 cut parts they have left from when they produced them for RCM&E. The plan from SLEC is on two separate sheets. Steve
  13. Please do. I have asked for this topic to be moved to Mass Build 2023, I am not sure why it's in 2022. Steve
  14. I started by building and flying in the local park. Towline glider like this. Servo Shop Hours of fun building it then even more fun when it flew. No BMFA, no CAA and no rules. Loved it. Steve
  15. That's bad news. Looks like I am going to have to talk to them, 🤔 Tina, not all bad news then. We need to start a Hanky Planky Mass Build. If I can sort something out with SLEC I will start a Peggy Sue 2 build. Rules are start whenever you want, take loads of photos and make it fun. Steve
  16. I will talk to SLEC to see if they can help. Peggy Sue 2 was on their cut parts stock clearance list last year. Steve
  17. It does look like a good model for a novice. I am reminded of how when I was a novice, before joining the A team, my instructor would check and maiden anything presented to him then he would give control to the novice to try. Flying on the buddy lead BTW. As you say Ron there is plenty on here to help, also I will build one with detailed step by step instructions so that the novices can follow along, as long as they don't build too fast for me. @Peter Miller is this a good plan? Talking of plans where do we get them from? Steve
  18. Good ideas there Piers. Made me think and read past MBs. One objective is to encourage novice builders, they can be experienced pilots. My thoughts are that the quick fun builds do appeal to the experienced which makes them popular MBs. Could we have a Fun MB and a Novice MB? What's the best way to move the MB forward? Certainly lots of variations will make for more interest, from me for one. I'm still thinking and looking for ideas to keep the MB going. Steve
  19. Easy build? Suitable for a novice builder? how about novice pilot?
