  1. I know I don't post very often, but my recent excellent experience with Logic RC deserves a mention. My DX9 was broken (left stick/gimbal) when my model fell on it (don't ask how I managed to let this happen). I posted my transmitter to them a week ago, I received it back today fully repaired, total cost £25 including the FedEx shipping back to me. I was concerned about letting my precious transmitter out of my sight, possibly never to be seen again, but my fears were unfounded. I have no connection whatsoever with this business apart from being a satisfied customer.
  2. They stopped trading several years ago, you will see second hand kits for sale from time to time, they command high prices. There are some companies on eBay offering parts, ribs and cowls etc.but not much else that know of.
  3. I also suffer from CA sensitivity, the merest whiff gives me a bunged up nose, I can however tolerate the foam safe type, might not work for everyone but worth a try.
  4. Thanks Barry, that's pretty well what I did. I did however put card spacers between the wing and the control surface to ensure there was clearance to allow free movement. I think I've just got a bit too much clearance and its an easy fix.
  5. Yes I also tried to find Sellotape Diamond, the closest I could find was Sellotape Super Clear, I have hinged one aileron but I'm not happy with it, the hinge line looks so obvious in clear tape. I will try again when I get a chance and try to get a smaller gap.
  6. That looks very neat Brian. I had a very similar experience with my kit except I didn't use much cyano. I also wished I had drilled the bulkhead before I fitted it, and used a bit less pressure when fitting my wing sheeting so I didn't crush the ribs. Mine is also almost finished (needs aileron hinging and pushrod installation) but work is currently suspended due to some family issues. I'll post a picture when things settle down at home.
  7. There is some, not very helpful information Here. It seems some wheels might be available in the US in February, not clear to we which year though and no indication when they might be more generally available.
  8. There is this comment on another thread by David Ashby, dated end November: "I've had a message to the effect that Colin of BB is just undergoing rehab after surgery and, hopefully, should be back at the helm in a couple of weeks. Like lots of Hobby traders, he's the owner/manager which is why things have been a little quiet of late." Sorry I don't know how to post a link.
  9. Hi Brian, I'm building this at the moment, it's almost complete and I hope to be covering it soon. I'm enjoying this build, it's straightforward, but, I have found the instructions are a bit confusing in some places. If you have any problems, and you post on here, I'm sure the expert forum members will be happy to help. I am but a mere novice compared to others here, I've only been building and flying for a decade or so but, I will be happy to help where I can based on my experiences with this model.
