  6. Hi Steve, I'm not familiar with the Hitec Radio, but on a Futaba 12FG you can either set up different trim settings for each flight condition (Flap, Aileron and Elevator) or you can link your ailerons to flaps so that when you adjust the flap camber or reflex using a slider, the ailerons are driven at the same time to achieve an all moving trailing edge. I use the trim settings for reflex and camber and have the flaps and alilerons both linked so that the whole trailing edge moves with snap flap and ailerons in my flight modes (don't use a slider). The advantage of the flight modes is you can unlink things as well e.g un-link flaps and ailerons in landing mode. Cheers, Tom

  8. Well my mate Paul flew in 60mph winds yesterday afternoon but it was struggle to stand up on the slope edge so I waited for the wind to die down to 50mph before launching a 3M mouldy. Mmm 30 sec air!
  9. You would be better off with a hotliner that has already been designed for electric power, that way you'll be able to get a decent power train in without compromising the AUW when trying to get to the CoG have a word with Sloperacer or T9 for suitable models or a MPX Blizzard if cost is an issue.
  10. Panasonic SD62 bridging camera, takes stills and shoots good video, cheaper than a video camera with a view finder, can't get on with an LCD screen, Sony Vegas 11 editor.
  11. T9 Hobby Sport sell them, if you speak to Rich he'll be able to let you know when he has some coming in.
  12. Same F3F mouldies I fly in big winds, wonderful thing ballast and a slippery efficient moulded wing that works well in light and strong conditions. Go on, you know you want to! Edited By Tom Foreman on 04/12/2012 13:18:09 Edited By Tom Foreman on 04/12/2012 13:18:40
  13. Try the RCMF forum, they have a Dynamic Soaring Forum, your nearest DS slope would be the Skirrid in South Wales.
  14. Anybody seen a manual for the 14SG yet? Nothing on the Futaba site yet. Need to check it can do on the fly snap flap and differential changes without going into the menu, like the 12FG, the 8FG can't do this.
  15. Or you could get a high performance foamy like an M60 Ingleborough Big Lift from Tom Foreman on Vimeo.
  16. Willows, Freestylers, Needles, Fosa's, Cyrils, Stinger's, Crossover's, Arsons's, Pikey's etc... its a slippery slope with no cure
  17. Have you thought of a sport scalie? Multiplex ASH26 or RCRCM DG600 spring to mind? There not beginners models, but once you've mastered crow somthing to aspire to later, unless your unlucky and get bitten by the F3F addiction RCRCM DG600 from Tom Foreman on Vimeo.
  18. Maidened a new toy at the weekend, think I have a new favourite
  19. Hi Jim, just go to your video on Vimeo and click on the share icon, that opens a window that will let you copy the embed url which you can post here via the Youtube tool button. The other forums Barc's, RCMF and RCG are a bit easier to use than here as you can just paste the Vimeo URL and the forum software manages the embed automatically, maybe a possible upgrade for the Mods to think about when the next forum software update is done? Cheers Tom
