  1. Jose needs to know the dihedral angle and the distance from building board to wing tip in mm …… I think!🤔
  2. A picture can be easily translated into any language! 😁 https://mach34.fr/construction/Stampe_Robin/stampe_robin. https://outerzone.co.uk/plan_details.asp?ID=4964
  3. Good luck and all the best for your new ventures Jon. It must be an unsettling time for you at the moment and you have my thoughts and best wishes. You’ve been been a great ambassador for the company and always helped laser owners, may your new ventures be prosperous
  4. Well, it’s done. There was some paint pull off the nylon in a couple of places but they’re very very small. They touched up ok.
  5. Added 150g to the wing and 100g to the fuselage
  6. More pictures of Anthony and work in progress
  7. Just collected it from paint not 30 mins ago.....a few decals to order. There is a small amount of flake in the clear coat, just enough to sparkle in the sun 😎
  8. Not flown for about 2 1/2 months...come the weekend, come the rain
  9. I’m sure a lot of bmfa members have had a link to this. It makes for interesting viewing in how the CAA view model /RC flying. I make no apologies for my views on Buckminster HQ. I was against it when it was first proposed but it is now built so we can’t go backwards and we have to work with what we’ve got. How to lower the age range and raise the members is a very difficult one. Interesting that the membership is now dipping down after covid and Dmares regs.
  10. I’ve finished the wheel hubs. The marvellous people at Stickers Planet have worked their magic again. The decal is 20mm x 24mm, probably the smallest they go

    RC C-17

    It’s the sound as well😳
  12. Anthony has made a start. I’m not going to ask what goes on in his lounge😳
  13. Shaun, I’ve had then in a draw for years. I’ve no idea where they came from. They’re on a site somewhere!
  14. I forgot to mention, before you cut out the ply hole, put marks 120* apart on the outside. This makes it easy to place the screws evenly around the hub
  15. The wings and fuselage is still with Anthony being painted. I thought I’d make some of my fizzy can wheel hubs. Get a can! I find that Diet Coke ones are the best as the aluminum is very thin and pliable. Cut around the base at the paint line, don’t cut straight through as you nip off the base ! I made 50mm and 65mm ply formers. These are simple holes from scrap ply. I’m sure someone would be able to make perfectly round ones with a laser cutter. These are good enough Place the former over the can base , dome side up and carefully beat the hell out of it, using a flat hard surface Trim up and flatten with a hand wheel. I use an old wallpaper seamer. Fix to the hub with small screws
