  7. Hi all, I have a Parkzone Radian motor glider which I love flying. At 1st I had a few hard landings and damage but now Im flying fine and landing without damage (figures crossed). I have been using the motor a bit more praticing go arounds and climbs and its got me thinking about buying an electric plane. I have seen the various Parkzone models and one that I am think of is the Spitfire. Would this be a good idea for someone who feels confurdent with his flying from a motor glider?   Can anyone help?

  9. Hi, That's why I added the video to show that the CX is a good little helicopter and I still enjoy flying it. I agree with the slight difference between the CX2 and the CX3. Still a great little heli!   Long live the Blade!
  10. Hiya all, thought I share a video that I made when flying my Blade CX2. Just remembering the CX2 before it taken over by the CX3!
  11. Cheers guys, the set up is very easy and very quick. Im hoping that I can pick this up pretty quick and hopefully move up. What would be the next stage?
  12. Well we have to start somewhere and I foam would be good for someone who's just starting off. Don't want to run before I can walk.   Can't wait to get it flying, I understand the basics of flight and gliding as I am having flying lessons.
  13. Hi all, I have been flying helicopters for well over a year now and I have been looking into getting into fix wing and maybe in to EDF one day.   At the weekend I took some advice from Sussex Model Centre and I bought the Hobby Zone Radian. Off course being the great British weather I haven't had the chance to fly it as yet.   Just wondering if any gliding PRO's could give any advice....?   Regards   Si.
  14. Not sure if I entered already as it get confusing from month to month, but hey count me in again!
  15. Hi all, I have been flying helicopters for over a year now and it have been on my mind to start trying to fly fixed wing models. This can be backed up as I am about to start flying lesson next year to fly microlight aircraft.  I was surfing you tube for RC model videos and I noticed a few videos of EDF aircraft. I was wondering if this is the best way to start and if anyone can give any suggestions on what kit or aircraft etc is best to start on? I hope in time I would like buy the West Wing kit of the Black BA Hawk as I am one in the RAF and two like the aircraft!  Also I am use to flying my heli in a park and was also wondering where is the best place to fly a fixed wing aircraft for rolling take offs?  Any help guys would be great!  Regards  Si.
  16. Steve, This a problem for anyone with a helicopter as it can be a number of things! Even If the shaft does not look bent the slightest damage to it will effect it. It only needs a slight movement to up set you heli. Is the tail twitching from side to side? I have a Blade CX2 and if the tail twitcties you normally have to adjust the "Gain" pot to correct this problem.  Hope this helps.....
