  1. Hi rick i live in the elstow area of bedford, but anywhere within 8-10 miles would be ok i guess, i would appreiciate any info, i have tried to contact a club "twinwoods" in the clapham area but have had no response as yet...cheers richard

Hi all, i'm back again!...i'm near completing a cambrian hurricane (electric conversion) and suffice to say it hasnt got a large alloy (engine) lump at the front and is a tad tail heavy, i suppose it needs some ballast! can anyone tell me how to fashion some sort of device to support/cradle plane whilst sussing out how much weight to add (something like a prop balancer?)...cheers all..regards rp

  16. thanks for that doug...im actually building a model for electric that was originally designed for ic, im just testing the water for ideas for saving weight and at the same time give model a decent overall finish, wings are foam cored fus is balsa/ply , i intend to use enamel paint with possibly water based satin/matt varnish...cheers
  17. Yes i know..ive lost the plot for sure!?.....is there an alternative to using dope on balsa sheet? to strenghten and aid finishing, (with tissue) ,or is it neccessary only to aid fuelproofing  on ic powered models etc...short and sweet this time cheers
