Dan Hedges
Hey Everyone, Okay, So I have been out of the hobby for a while and last time I flew planes 35MHz was the thing to fly on, now, coming back everything seems to be 2.4GHz! So looking around I see parkzone have an ultra micro Sukhoi that is 3D capable, now I am looking at getting back to flying aerobatics and this looks like a good possible purchase for me. However it says it is "Bind and Fly", does this mean I can bind it to any 2.4GHz transmitter or does it need to be particular make / models or what? Phil 9
has to be a Spectrum 2.
David Ashby - Moderator
Yup Phil's right - DSM2 to be precise so the model can only be bound and flown with a Spektrum or JR DSM2 transmitter. boggy
Posted by Tom Sharp 2 on 29/08/2010 18:36:41: there is also a plug and play version where you fit your own receiver and lipo sadly no Tom the rx is integral with the esc and two of the servo's.the pnp version is infact the bind and fly, and includes the plane one battery and a charger. Frank Skilbeck
Dan Spektrum have built the very neat lightweight all in one RX, 2 servo. ESC unit and E Flite/Parkzone all being part of the Horzon Hobbies group have built several planes around them the micro Sukhoi being one of them. But if you don't want to splash out on an "expensive" set or lock yourself into the DSM2 system then you can but the Tx's that come with the RTF sets separately for under £25, see here http://www.micronradiocontrol.co.uk/spektrum_radio.html#efl-mlp4dsm at the bottom of the page.
