kevin b
Posted by martin collins 1 on 26/01/2020 14:38:15: Nigel Hawes 30" Tucano built as a 7 day challenge from a pile of sheet wood and a plan to a fully covered flown model in 7 days. I have now added some trim to make it a bit easier to see in the current dreary skies! Flies really nicely, full build thread can be found under the 7 day challenge thread. Nice. Paul Marsh
2 Cubs that someone didn't want, including the ASP 75 engine in the cub. Was converted to electric. but reconverted it with the same engine it originally must have used, as the engine mounting bolts were the same. GeeW
Go-Jet built from Sept 2017 RCM&E plans. So I'm obviously not the fastest builder here! Model is finished in the colour scheme of RAE Llanbedr which was the home of the UK's drone and pilotless flying research programme.

Peter Miller
I have just finished my new model. This is a cross breed or mongrel being a slightly enlarged fuselage from one design and a thickened wing from another. Name is Miss Sizzle. There is no build blog and I am not planning to submit it to our editor as it isn't really a new design. If anyone gets down on bended knee I may allow the odd PDF file out. No instructions just my own plan. Span is 47, weight is 3 lbs dead, 3S 3000Mah battery, 40 amp ESC, 3541 1070 motor. The pilot is one of those truly superb highy detailed ones that used to be sold on Ebay.
Martin McIntosh
Do you ever stop designing Peter?
Peter Miller
Just occasionally I like to build from a kit or plan. The trouble is finding a kit that excites me but doesn't cost a small fortune
kevin b
Due to the state of the weather over the last year, or so, I have at least 6 aeroplanes to maiden. My next model will be this. Boats don't mind a bit of rain and some even like it a bit windy !
Martian
Nice Kevin I feel the same next project is a Hovercraft loosely based on an SRN6 powered by an EDF for thrust
Dave Cunnington
Months ago I acquired a started Flair Cub fuselage, damaged, and wingless. In "stock" was an old Irvine Tutor wing which has been repaired and recovered - now I guess I'll have to think about flying it.

KiwiKid
I have been flying a Sig Ninja sloper for many years, but decided to give it a new lease on life with a motor on the snoz. Had plenty of room for the gear inside the fuse and back mounted the motor on the solid hardwood forward section. On 4S she really honks along and still performs well as a sloper with the folding prop.
Torsten Spitzner
Here's my latest model. He is yet to maiden, just waiting for less windy days since I made a simple (well, not that simple to make..), round parachute.
simon barr
Didn't somebody (like Flair) do a parachutist back in the '80/'90s?
