Hi

Looking for help folks!

Are these 2 interchangeable? I've got a T8J and just bought a R3008SB

Think I've got it wrong?

I think you may have a problem...

The Futaba 'manual' for the R3008SB receiver says the following;

Usage precaution

• Futaba T-FHSS Air system does not work with current Futaba TFHSS / S-FHSS / FHSS / FASST / FASSTest system.

• The R3008SB receiver can only be used with T-FHSS Air capable transmitters.

So, you need a "T-FHSS Air capable" transmitter for that receiver. The T8J is S-FHSS, which is on the "does not work with" list in the manual.

Hi Stuart, You can get the 6 channel R3006GS for about £32 from Inwood models.

Sounds like I need to check with FUTABA, your edit has removed the answer but what you said makes some sense.

These hi-tec tx's are great but sometimes sound too clever. Hey ho!
