David Ashby - Moderator
The pic is from George Worleys album and here's the model a few months ago before the first flight. All depron I believe but I'll see about getting some more details from Cyril.

Tom Sharp
Simon Cocker was the man with the Antonov, he slings it off a hill just down the road from me.
George Worley - 4-Max
Hi AllIt looked so real at times especially when landing with a very nose high attitude. The overcast sky and general grayness makes it impossible to tell if it's the real thing or a model. The photo was actually taken by Colin Low.It's ducted fan powered and the intakes are on the sides just above the wing. They are almost impossible to spot in the air. Because of the extremely draggy airframe it flys quite slowly but has enough power to fly around. When he cuts the power it just stops and performs a "harrier" amusing to watch. Cyril is a great character who makes planes with great characterCheers n beersGeorge
