I finally got the chance to fly my A4 at Baldhills north of Ballarat, Victoria last Saturday. The forecast was for 20kt winds however when we arrived it seemed a little stronger than predicted, my wing speed indicator registered 30 gusting to 37kts. I waited around for a couple of hours then gave up and went home. We have had a very windy month here in south east Australia but I am ready to return to Bald Hills on the right day.

The A4 looks great Shane. Remember going to Garden Island as a kid when the Opera House was opened and seeing these birds lined up on Melbourne.

The wind has been very unseasonable this year, right up the eastern seaboard. The August winds well into October. I reckon I saw a couple of Galahs flying backwards the other day.

Just saw your Q about Clinton, my guess would be the USS Intrepid museum in New York or the Hornet in San Diego. Just a guess.
