GaryW Posted February 4, 2019 Author Share Posted February 4, 2019 I gotta be brutelly honest.... as I will never get to fly the Superfly because of the way my health is now,,,, I did seriously toy with the idea of selling it when i stripped out the work room to convert it into a walk-in wardrobe a few weeks ago to someone who will actually fly it and put it to good use rather than letting it sit there on the shelf gathering dust...but knowing me i will probably miss the damn thing...lol Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

I know it's been a while since i last posted to up date you all on the progress of my Superfly as my health really hasn't been good but........ Now if you had said 5 years ago when i got this plane and had it built with help from a couple of friends that i wud one day be getting it down off the shelf to reassemble it with the intention of finally finishing it to get it ready to fly next year,, I wudda said you was barking blooming mad........ Well..... I wud say I'm the barking mad one as that is exactly what I'm now doing... Motor & ESC are already in,, just needs 2 Servos, Rx, Rx Battery New Prop & a Lipo and it's ready to go I had a feeling going indoor flying on Sunday for the first since i gave up the hobby wud be a blinking curse & yes I also have a place with a club lined up ... GaryW Posted June 14, 2023 Author Share Posted June 14, 2023 Hi Again to those that have been following the post ,, the latest update on my Superfly Well... it's only taken 6 years since it was built to finally get round to getting it finished & ready flying & with the nice box of bits from Nexus Bob & the guys at Nexus Modelling Supplies arriving a couple of hours ago.. theres no excuse not to get it finished now which it has now gone off to a friend in the club to be finished and shud be ready for flying in the next 2 - 3 weeks 2 Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
