They are not polystyrene. They are EPP expanded poly propylene. Much better and fuel proof
Edgeflyer
Where do you get these Playtime gliders? I see they are £24 online
Rich Griff
Anything on Lidl on line ? If they have some not selling in the Lidl shops, perhaps Lidl could recall them and place in Thier on line site ? Off to Bangor later and will call into Lidl as see if any there.....hopefully at a reduced price...
Rich Griff
None in Lidl porthmadoc a few days ago and none in Bangor today, no relatively cheap small steam generators either. I had a good look at the disc sander, looks quite good but electric, so for £35 I will stick with my porrage powered version which is ok and last as long as me hopefully 😁
Rich Griff
Had to take swmbo to Bangor hospital appointment so called in at Lidl, wonderfully, some disc Sanders left at reduced price, so I got one. Will do a report thread on this little machine when m/bike back together ( service and rear wheel bearings ) and car mot'd.

Speedster
On the 3 Lidl in the video there is a tow coupling as in the video below. The towplane is a Funcub with a large motor, but a standard Funcub will also do it. The Standard Lidl is 280 gram and the Flying wing Lidl is 225 gram AUW On ather gliders we just use a piece of velcro, on the Lidl around 5 mm, and we place it at the underside of the fuselage around 5 cm from the nose. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ylMsItwYZng&t
