BIG DAY TODAY.....

Put it together for the first time in the garden and checked the CG.

Here is Brian, he’s delighted, I wonder why!

Next week it’s sorting out the rigging and install the batteries.

Off to paint today. I’ve not posted much as there is not much to see. We’ve used flat stainless steel rigging wire and bolt through clevises. The thread ends silver soldered onto the wire. This has taken nearly 3 days over various weekends and afternoons. All will be revealed soon...

I spent 2 1/2 hrs yesterday getting all the surfaces level and dialled in to the Tx . There is twice aileron differential. The suggestions of throws are all done. It’s going to have 2k NATO Matt green and Matt sand.

Brian and I had a discussion about those.

Do we leave them that way to push/ scoop air into the engine bay and hot escapes out of the top near the exhaust?

Or do we have them turned around so as they create a drawing effect, pulling air in from the front and out the louvers?

Any thoughts and options
