BackinBlack
It will be next on my building bench, which will be clear in about a week. A kit from Sarik would help in getting it in the air a little sooner.
Stuart Quinn-Harvie 1
I will probably build mine straight from the plan, but it's definitely on the schedule to be built before the end of summer so I can fly it this year. A Kit would be a brilliant idea and would get folks building it who perhaps might be uncertain about a full plan build.
J Moyler
I would be interested in a kit. It depends when I build it. If a kit comes out soon I will use the kit. But if I am building during the winter I will build it straight from the plan. JM
Basil
Hi, I cant find anybody that supplies a kit already. Skip models have replied that they will look at my plan and quote!!! Barry
dan h
Hi basil. Have you tried slec? They will certainly cut you a kit if they dont have one on the shelf. Wouldnt be to expensive either. Dan

Basil
Hi Daniel, SELC said I should send them the plan and they would send me an estimate. Sarik said 'Check back in acouple of months'. I will contact SELC. Have you actually built this model?. Barry
dan h
Slec are very helpful No I havent built it yet! But it is on my list. Let us know how you get on. Dan
Basil
Dan, been in contact with SELC about a cut kit. I am trying to contact Peter before progressing as it is his design. In short before cutting starts they must have some sort of CAD file for the machine to use. They can make a CAD file from the plan, obviously at some cost, understandably, so in my mind the possiblity of who's CAD it is and then who's who after that????????????? So if I speak to Peter first and run it by him. IF it goes then a kit will be available. Barry

Basil
At last. SLEC informed me kit ready to ship. There you go lads, get your orders in Barry
Alan Thorpe
Ordered and on the way already! Fantastic service from Slec! Cannot wait to start!!
Geoff S
Is there a link for the L'l Cub at SLEC? I'll almost certainly build one but I was intending to scratch build from the plan, however it's probably worth checking costs first. I'll probably need to stock up on wood anyway. I've just discovered from watching the full size on YouTube that the pilot's name is Knapp, which was our family name until it was changed early last century because of anti-German sympathies. So I guess I have to build it now! Geoff
Alan Thorpe
Hi Geoff, There was not a link actually, at least not when I ordered it! I sent an email inquiry and a few days later the kit was ready, just have to pick it up tomorrow from the courier! Tina from Slec very kindly emailed me a few days after I had ordered to let me know the kit was cut and ready to send to me!
JENJEN
Received my Lil Cub and started the build. Hope it all goes well and look forward to hearing from other Lil Cub builders how they get on with their build. I am a relative newbie wood basher after a layoff for more years than I care to mention, so any ideas are always welcome. J
Peter Miller
Hi Jen IT is pretty simple really. Just notice the correction to the drawing of leading edge around here somewhere.
JENJEN
Peter, Thank you for the reply. I am building to the July 2019 plans, so is there an update as you suggest and if so where can I find it? Can you also give some indication on fixing of the LE slat mounting? Slec did a fine job on the supply and delivery.
