F86 build - Boeing chase plane

Hi James

I spotted this one too. I was at the Museum of Flight in Seattle this year and the Sabre they have there is this one, now repainted as it was also a record breaking transatlantic aircraft (also previously one of the Golden Hawks display team). If you are definitely doing it I won't as you were there first, but if you aren't let me know as I fancy it.

Cheers RobCanadair F86.jpg

The plan shows 165mm behind F4 (safe but nose heavy). Most of the flying Sabres are now set to 172mm behind F4 for a more neutral position.

Set the tailplane incidence to the same angle as the wing, eg 0:0.

4lb 2oz is a good weight.

Thats a stunning livery and finish James - excellent job!  Will you be joining us on the Orme for the event 18/19th September??

Could you please add a photo and some basic finished model description into the Finished Model thread for me when she's complete please?  Many thanks
