malmaz
I am in the process of building a Cambrian ME109 electric funfighter, I purchased this kit with the recommended motor and esc , a Overlander Thumper 1050kv with overlander XP2 40A Esc. My question is what prop should I use with 3s lipo and also what should I use if I go for the 4s route? On the Cambrian website it recommends apce 9x6 with 3s lipo, is this what I should be purchasing and would this be suitable with the 4s lipo? Tom Gaskin 1
The 9" prop will be for the 4cell setup. For 3cells, you will need an 11" prop, as per the recommendations on the Cambrian website. Tom
Alan Gorham_
Actually, Cambrian list two different motors for the 109, but only show one size of prop (the 9 x 6). It would seem to me that they are suggesting using the 1050kV motor for 4S use and the 1500kV motor for 3S use, but keeping a 9 x 6 prop in either case. **LINK** You could always ask their advice? malmaz
Thanks for the reply's, Alan I have emailed Cambrian models and they replied saying that they used 3s with a 9x6 prop and that they know of others using 4s but did not know what size prop they used, so am still confused?
