Andy Stephenson
I have been looking for a Perry 2 stroke glow pump/regulator for a pattern-ship but they don't seem to be in stock anywhere. Are there any equivalent devices available. Any help on this subject would be most appreciated. Andy.
Nigel R
What engine is it for?
Andy Stephenson
Nigel, it's for an OS61RF or possibly for an Irvine 72.
Nigel R
Do Conley sell direct? As an alternative I guess you might look for a spares/repair SFP/RFP that has a working pump/carb? Downside of that is the carbs seem to be a bit like rocking horse although the backplate pumps are a little more common. I guess the carbs were easily damaged in 'arrivals'. Also keep a look out for the 0.OS 46 pump system - they were effectively a perry pump. Does the model really need a pump? Both your motors have really nice standard carbs. ASH.
There was a couple of Perry pumps for sale on BMFA Classifieds recently. Put a wanted ad up on there.
Andy Stephenson
Nigel, It's because I would like to put the tank at the CG. No real hope of getting OS spares for 30 year old engines. Ash, I will keep an eye on the BMFA classifieds but I'm wary of putting wanted ads due to con artists, thanks. A.
