Not much to show that you didn't see on the first wing.

The Port wing is complete up to the point that I deviate from the plan.

I will modify the aileron, and make the flap. I made most of the ply and glass parts when I did the starboard wing so hopefully it will not take too long and we can start on the fus.

Managed to make the port aileron using the finished starboard as a reference.

Got as far as shaping the aileron leading edge and the rough piano wire hinge is threaded through, all works nicely and the gap is consistent through-out.

That's already picture No.100

The Victorians used to put deliberate errors into their works, because they regarded it as sacrilegious to be perfect!

I believe that the carpet weavers of Iran do the same thing to this day. They believe that only God is perfect.

I have just realised that all of my models must be religious artifacts!

Wings ready for covering, more or less.

Pinned the fus plan to the board, and started separating out all the parts.

Part 101 is missing, but oddly the "land" is in the box.

It looks like it has been forced out rather than the tabs cut, as the edges are broken. At least I have the outline from which to make another.

I would be interested in hearing from modellers that have built this before, and if I have interpreted the plans correctly?

specifically the top longeron I have split into three and made joints, the wood is so hard I didn't like the idea of trying to bend it, and the forces this would lock into the fuselage.

The front blocks and doublers is fairly straightforward, I am documenting for others.

That's it for today ?

Really enjoying making the diagonal joints on the fuselage, my OCD dictates that each joint should be better than the last, alas I do not achieve such perfection, but sadly it gives me great satisfaction when a diagonal slots into place.
