Ron Gray
The blades should really be free to pivot on their hubs. This is my Havok with the folding blades in place.
Graham Davies 3
Ron, what stops the stacks getting damaged? Do the blades just 'ride over' them, or are they clear?
Ron Gray
When the props fold back on the fuse they are not rotating.
Graham Davies 3
Thanks Ron. That's true enough; what if you open the taps again? Not sure I may ever need to but I'd prefer that to be less traumatic!
Glenn Philbrick
We have ten of these in the club, now only eight! Most are ic powered last man up uses a dolly but it’s a bit hit and miss especially without a rudder.Has anybody any good ideas on a steerable dolly? Graham Davies 3
Hi Glenn, Are you referring to funfighters? I've never used a dolly, so I can't really comment. I'm a solo flinger and have never had much trouble. I use a high arm and a good push and don't get worried if it gets pretty close to the ground before gathering it all up. Those 6ft give it chance to get a bit of airspeed! Mine doesn't roll left too badly, but I do have rudder to keep it in line. That said; it's not easy to poke all 4 axes when you've just given it a good hurl! Graham

My only concern has been the rev limits in the specs of the props, I was very careful when I first flew it with the folders that I kept the revs down, no WOT high speed passes but I soon got bored with that! Ron Gray
My launch trolley controlled with a second Rx on a rotary control for steering and launch switch.
