Trevor
I’m trying to source a spinner for use with a reverse rotation prop. My searches so far confirm that such things do exist but I’ve failed to find a source here in the UK. Ideally, I’d want an alloy spinner of about 2.5in diameter but a bit smaller would be okay. I’d even be prepared to settle for an uncut spinner - just anything which would look better than hacking out one that’s already cut for conventional props. Any suggestions gratefully received. TIA Trevor
jrman
Try "Tru - Turn" spinners in the USA. Expensive but excellent quality. http://www.truturn.com
Gary Manuel
Hobbyking do some rather nice uncut Carbon Fiber ones if they are any use to you (note Fibre spelt wrong). I've used them before and they are good. https://hobbyking.com/en_us/carbon-fiber-prop-spinner-64mm-2-5in-diameter.html?queryID=6ea7538c9cff6add2f3e843087e44fac&objectID=21413&indexName=hbk_live_magento_en_us_products
Trevor
Thanks both. The Hobbyking ones look promising - I could cope with black ?. Available only from the global warehouse of course, so I'll spend another day or so looking for a UK source before settling for that. If you are concerned about the Royal Mail 'duty/handling fees' Trevor, the last 'global order' I received from HK did not attract any, despite the slim package containing four receivers. The package only took a week to arrive too.
