Brian Dorricott 1
Hi all, Now that Phoenix the simulator is no more and all the files are available for download free of charge does anyone know if the 22 in 1 Chinese dongle actually works with Phoenix ? I bought one when I lost my genuine dongle and it didn't work and I could not read the supplied CD ( faulty) at all. My dongle turned up ( under my nose all the time) so didn't try it again . Has anyone on here actually got it to work ? As usual thanks for replies .
GrumpyGnome
Yes, that works fine for me, as does Realflight (not the very latest versions obviously). I could never get Reflex XTR working properly but the two already mentioned suit my needs well... I'm running it on Windows 10, on a Taranis and DX7S Edited March 8, 2022 by GrumpyGnome
Brian Dorricott 1
GrumpyGnome was that the version off the supplied disk ? I have the downloaded version which I tried the dongle with and no luck , the disk itself is faulty .
Denis Watkins
TRY, Before Start Up With the download installed, the dongle plugged in, and the Tx connected. Now Start Up the computer It should all run.
GrumpyGnome
I've done it both ways for Phoenix: On my desktop, I installed from the disk, then downloaded the later versions. I downloaded, then installed, each version in turn On my Surface, I downloaded the earliest version, then downloaded and installed each later version in sequence. GrumpyGnome
Also lots of planes etc. here, in a popular Canadian forum: https://www.rcgroups.com/forums/showthread.php?2382571-User-Built-Models-for-PhoenixRC/
Brian Dorricott 1
I got the dongle working by running the setup program on the disk and selecting Phoenix . Could not get the Realflight to load off the disk as my antivirus really didn't like it .
