Roy Hill 3
Hello all. I'm looking for a pair of 250mm air brakes to be built into a Krick Minimoa at a sensible price! (i.e. less that the £75 - odd currently being advertised.) Failing being able to buy them, does any-one have the drawings to enable me to build them myself? Thanks, Roy. Frank Skilbeck
Roy, are these the scissor type top and bottom airbrakes?
Roy Hill 3
Hi Frank. Thanks for the reply. The ones I am looking for have 2 sections which rise from the wing. I've not heard them referred to as scissor type but it's a good description.
Nick Somerville
I designed some scale scissor type air brakes that deployed top and bottom for my 1/4 scale Bergfalke mk4. I should have the drawings somewhere and they could easily be adapted for top deployment only. Let me know if you fancy a go at making your own and I will dig them out. Glenn Philbrick
They are 140 mm long. E mail your address and I'll stick them in the post.
Frank Skilbeck
Roy, Glider Distribution usually do this type, but they are out of stock. You could try a post on the Scale Soaring or BARCS forums, that may turn up a set.
Roy Hill 3
Frank. Thanks for that. Regards Roy
