Invisible menu?

Recommended Posts

I don't know what has changed recently, but on the opening page of the forum, the menu banner (News, Features, Plans, etc) is now rendering as white text on a white background! This makes it almost invisible!

All the other pages are fine (white text on grey background)

I'm using Firefox as my browser, running on Slackware Linux.

It has always been like that for me on my Samsung tablet. I reported it and was told the techies would look into it. But it never improved. As you say Peter, it's white text on an off-white background which renders it all but unreadable.  I have to just guess where to tap on the screen.

Have you checked the display settings on your device ? Light setting gives a light background with black text while the dark view setting gives the dark background with white text . Worth checking as possibly the banner etc is not compatible with a dark setting.

In my case, the computer gets used for video editing quite a bit, including colour balancing, so I don't really want to mess with the display settings.

Its only the home page that shows this problem. All the others are fine, so I reckon its a design "feature" on this page. Not a good one, though!
