Douglas Skyraider plan suggestions please

The full size uses twist and turn type retracts and these are often a bit of a nightmare. If you do use retracts i would use standard units and have them retract straight back into the wing. Sure the bottom half of the wheel might hang out but it might save you some hassle. At 62 inch and 9-10lbs a laser 80 would be plenty and i would shoot for a 14x7 apc prop on a model like that.

 

Lowering the tank for an inverted engine will also be easy given the cavernous fuselage!
