Neil67
Tried to update my NX8 (stupid idea). Trieded the wifi method, everything worked initially no problem downloading file to PC, transferred to card (as recommended by Spektrum). Radio connected to internet, found and recognised file, logged in properly and clicked update - working message on radio then radio shut down after 10seconds. Restarting radio no update. Tried several times with same result. Reverted to using file transfer method with wifi. Started well, again recognised file, downloading bar appeared and seemed to be working. However, then appeared to get stuck in a loop and after two hours still looping. Unable to stop or shut down radio. Eventually had to take battery out but on reconnection still loops and no access to menu. Any obvious solutions or ways to reset radio? Radio only 14 months old first attempt at update (never again). Shaun Walsh
Apparently you can put the files on an SD card, load it into a switched off transmitter and when you turn it on it will install the files from the SD card automatically. See this forum link,NX transmitter thread
Don Fry
For a DX9, this would be sorted by; Switch it on, while holding down roller for 5 seconds.
Trevor Crook
I've got an NX8 that I updated soon after purchase, about 18 months ago, but have left it be since, so I can't really help, other than to suggest contacting Logik RC who are the official support body. Keith Billinge
Try the new 3.07 firmware file on a blank, freshly formatted, SD card. Dont forget the NX series of radios are fussy about SD cards (until you upgrade to 3.07) so Just find a small card (Under 32Gb) and format it with Fat32 on a computer.
