Astounding multirotor surfing videos

For some reason today Youtube suggested this channel to me. Now I know over the last few years many of us have become annoyed at the irresponsible use of consumer multirotors and the legislation that has (in part) resulted from that, but when you see footage like this I have to admit they do have their uses...

I recently purchased a "cheap" multi rotor, just to see what all the fuss was about.

 

I have to say, they are amazing.

 

The technology, the ease of flying, the photo quality etc. are something out of the "Eagle" comic of yesteryear!.

 

Needless to say I am upgrading, they are a stunning bit of kit.

 

My favourite button?.

 

"Return to home" of course.............how on earth does that work!!

it just logs the GPS position at startup and retains it until needed by RTH, then navigate back in a straight line - It’s actually very simple even in comparison to what a car GPS is doing. Just make sore there are no large trees anywhere nearby when you press it!
