How to set prop brake on esc

My f5 res fresh glider  has this speedcontroller sep 07 WO 1462 170.

Does anyone have the instructions to programme the propellor brake please.

Using a 3s 450 lipo.

I don't recognise the ESC, so a bit more information might help.

Did the ESC come with the kit? If not, where did it come from?

Any other markings on the ESC?

If Sep 07 is the manufacture date any details may be hard to find.

If outdated, you can always try the common setting of high throttle, counting the beeps and going to low

As on youtube.

Your other option is to ask you flying buddies if they have any programming cards, I know in the past I've found one that has worked with a mates ESC even though it was a different brand. Doesn't always work but worth a try.

I agree £20 on a new ESC for a £200+ model.

But if the ESC works then why throw it away. I would certainly try the good old throttle stick programming technique first. Brake is usually first on the list of programming options.

…agreed, but make sure you take the prop off first - never programme an ESC with it on!
